Snowdrops Porcelain Christmas Bell

Each year during the Christmas period, I create a small selection of handmade Christmas decorations. Each decoration is unique; carefully hand-crafted from porcelain, hand-painted and glazed through several firings until she is ready to decorate your tree.

My Christmas bells are one of my favourite designs to date - I love that they combine a quintessentially christmassy motif with a doll-like look, and the larger scale means that I can decorate them more elaborately than ever before.

This bell was inspired by the snowdrops growing in my garden last Winter. I painted her whilst listening to Jane Eyre on audio book.

The ceramic cat bell is cast from porcelain slip, hand painted and fired in a transparent glaze to give it a lovely glossy finish. Gold lustre detailing has been painted and fired onto the glazed surface to add even more of a sparkle. Each bell is finished with a hand dyed silk ribbon bow at the back of her waist, with a ribbon hanging tie to match. The matching ceramic legs dangle gracefully beneath her, showing her pointy gold lustre shoes.

Each bell measures approximately 8cm tall from the base to the tip of the hanging hook, this does not include the legs which dangle down to make her size on the tree closer to 10.5cm in length.

The legs can also be tucked in so that your bell can 'sit' for display on a shelf, meaning that you can keep her on display all year round.

Your decoration will come in a beautiful kraft presentation box, stamped with the Tender Being logo. Your order will be dispatched in a recyclable cardboard box with a brown paper tape seal.

UK orders will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, international orders will be dispatched by either Royal Mail or UPS, depending on the value of your shipment. Tracking numbers are provided for all orders.
