Rose's Chair

This beautiful, one of a kind chair was a collaboration between myself and my partner Nathan (@sculptdouble on Instagram). It was made specifically for my ball jointed dolls, but would be a lovely prop for dolls of various scales. It was strongly inspired by an image of an 18th Century regency armchair.
The chair was sculpted and carved by Nathan using a combination of artificial woods, before being hand painted and sprayed with a lacquer sealant.
For the upholstery, I chose a beautiful fabric remnant from my vintage stash, which is a golden yellow with a delicate brocade pattern. The upholstery is hand finished with brass beading around the edge of the chair.
The chair measures approximately 24.4cm from the legs to the highest point at the back. The seat is approximately 10cm from the ground. The depth of the chair is approximately 12.7cm from one leg to the other. If there are any other specific measurements you would like to know, please feel free to drop me an email.
